Cutting a Polygon

Cutting a polygon removes it from the original layer but keeps it on the clipboard for pasting.

To cut a polygon:

1.     Select the required polygon. See “Selecting a Polygon or Rectangle” in this chapter for more information.

2.     On the Polygon Edit tab, in the Clipboard group, click Cut. The selected polygon is removed from the layer displayed in the Working Window, and placed on the clipboard for pasting.
